The Firm has developed a substantial municipal law practice. The Firm's lawyers have more than 20 years experience in Municipal Law, representing Villages in finance, regulatory control, zoning, administrative audits, SEQRA, bonding, legislation, labor contracts, inter-municipal agreements, tax certiorari and litigation. In addition, we act as special counsel to a variety of municipal boards in other communities, offering advice on administrative, labor, zoning, real estate, tax certiorari and other legal matters. The Firm has also been retained by municipalities as special counsel to assist in the preparation and drafting of master land use plans and zoning ordinances. In fact, our attorneys have drafted the zoning codes for several Long Island municipalities, and we are in the process of updating zoning and municipal codes in other municipalities.
